You think it up - I put it on wax!

It all started when I was looking for a baptism candle for my first daughter. I wasn't able to find anything that I really liked for this special occasion. So I decided to just do my own!

It was so much fun! So my other two kids, who now were born in the States, needed to get one of my candles as well. This time it got tricky. I wasn't able to find any of the materials in any crafts store, therefore my mom got all the materials that I needed and I sent them over from Germany.

By chance I found a little store downtown, that sold similar supplies and I asked the owner if she could order my specific wax sheets and - she was! I was so thrilled, that as a little "thank you" I made her a candle that featured her "Busy Bee Toys" company logo.

And when my friend saw my daughter's birthday gift table decorated with her candle she ordered my first personalized Wedding Candle - the idea of German Candle Creation was born! When I heard about Etsy I knew, this is my portal to reach out and give anyone a chance to buy my candles, not only locals! It didn't take long to get started and I've come a long way. Starting out with Baptism Candles, I now have Christmas Candles, Halloween Candles, Valentines, Communion and Confirmation Candles and am still working on more variety.
